When you find yourself renovating or redecorating the home office be sure to allow for adequate lighting. The bad aspect of these types of lamps is the fact theyre not very kid or pet friendly. Simply because they will in many cases are extremely shinny, it wouldnt help but attract the eye of kids and animals. The crystal used about the lamps is sometimes very delicate and highly breakable if not handled with care. Since many everyone know, small children are not often very gentle and the can potentially damage the lamp with little effort. Also for younger kids one must be worried about the choking hazard that might take place.
Exactly the same should be said for that pets and animals from the house. With as transportable as the lamps is often, it would not take much force from an animals tail to knock it over and damage it beyond repair. The last negative about these kind of lamps is that often they may not be easy to wash when dirty. When the dirt and mud get within the crystals themselves, usually one must take the actual crystals off of the lamp to clean. This is a pain staking task as detaching the crystal means they are now more prone to being broken by accident.
